ODASSEY jewelry is designed and manufactured to the highest quality standards, but require gentle handling because all pieces are made by hand. When jewelry is not being worn, keep it stored in an ODASSEY jewelry box or pouch. Proper care and maintenance will preserve their beauty and shine.

Sterling Silver

Sterling silver is the strongest alloy of silver (92.5% silver and 7.5% copper), balancing beauty and durability. Exposure to air, dust or other elements, particularly those containing salt and sulfur, may cause sterling silver to tarnish more rapidly, but silver that is regularly worn needs less care and will last a lifetime. I encourage you to wear your silver jewelry every day for best condition or store it in a safe and dry place. There are a number of non-abrasive polishes on the market specifically designed to remove tarnish. Always read the warning label and take care when using polishes on your jewelry.

14k Gold-Plated

All Pieces that come with a Goldplating are plated with 3 micron of 14k gold. With proper care, a 14k goldplated piece can be worn for up to 3 years without showing any signs of wear. Delicate chains wear off faster and need to be cleaned more often. 

Care should be taken to protect the layer of gold from being worn away or nicked when cleaning. Do not use abrasive compounds to clean the jewelry. The best way to care for gold filled jewelry is to scrub gently with an old, soft toothbrush and a mild dishwashing liquid. Rinse and lay on a towel to dry. Be sure it is completely dry before storing.

Resin

My approach to all resin pieces is to make them as durable as possible, i make sure to source the best and sturdiest resin on the market to use for my pieces that are casted or 3D printed. Although I test all my jewelry pieces made of resin, for its durability, it can happen that breakage occurs. If you've bought ODASSEY jewelry made of resin and have experienced breakage please send an email to contact@odassey.com with a picture of your broken jewelry piece and i will replace it for you. If you still have your broken Jewelry please send it back to me so i can repair or recycle it. Please avoid contact with water over longer periods take it off before you shower and dont expose the ring to harsh chemicals, which can be found in hand sanitizer, perfume and lotions. This will help to bring the most out of your jewelrys lifetime.
